Hello! I’m Emmie and I am an illustrator based in York. I am extremely inspired by nature and what we can see whilst exploring the outdoors. I am a lover of colour and texture and enjoy illustrating animals, flowers, plants and cozy scenery.
The main traditional materials I use are watercolour paints, coloured pencils, biro pens and fineliners, and I often work digitally on Procreate. I also like to work with collage, gouache paints, lino printing and watercolour pencils. My work is all about bringing fun and happiness into the world and helping bring stories to life, which often leads to me recreating memories of my own or of anyone else willing to share.
When I'm not making art, I enjoy gaming, reading, and spending time with my loved ones. I absolutely love the scenery in York, and the outside brings me inspiration everyday. I achieved my Bachelor's Illustration Degree at York St. John University in 2022 and I look forward to finding out where my art takes me.
